Do professional services have an implied warranty?

The purpose of implied warranty is to protect consumers even if a warranty has not explicitly been stated. For example, you may buy a secondhand freezer with the expectation that it will keep food frozen. You later discover that it does not work. Here, you are entitled to seek a refund or replacement based on implied warranty.

When it comes to professional services, your rights are not as easily defined. Depending on the state and service, implied warranty may be applied (or not applied) differently. Please seek advice from a legal representative for more clarity.
